Each year, Garden City SEPTA awards the Nancy Maher Maxwell award to a deserving member of our district. This award was created in memory of the former head of Pupil Personnel Services, Ms. Nancy Maher Maxwell, and is bestowed in her honor to an individual who goes beyond his or her job responsibilities to help the special education students in our district.
